Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 + discretionary bonus

Location: DC Metro Area (must be local to VA, MD or DC)

Office Situation: 100% Remote (with occasional in-person meetings)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue client invoices, including contract-based calculations
• Record revenue and expenses in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain contract-based revenue tracking schedules
• Track accounts receivable and monitor client payment activity
• Prepare month-end journal entries and support the close process
• Perform monthly profit & loss analysis by assigned contracts
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Support internal and external financial audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries and account reconciliations
• Solid knowledge of GAAP
• Demonstrated job stability
• Must be local to the DC Metro area (VA, MD, DC)
