Responsibilities
  • Complete training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve customers
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
  • Follow a route schedule and daily operation plan within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer location
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
  • Act as a problem solver for each customer with empathy, listening to and understanding their needs and recommending effective solutions
  • Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind about pest management
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer's property; training is provided
  • Communicate actions taken and discuss additional services to support the pest management program
  • Complete all required service-related documentation on a handheld device for speed and accuracy

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Wear PPE, sometimes requiring an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Willing to work in different weather conditions
