• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, assisting customers and staff as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and surrounding areas to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help deter theft and support a secure environment for shoppers and employees.
• Report and document any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures and direction from site management or law enforcement.
• Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the retail location.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
