Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2254) at Target

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks and engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events; be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge that you’re happy they chose to shop at Target; promote and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features within the Target App including Wallet and be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
• Assist with returns by following register prompts; partner with leadership as needed to resolve guest issues while following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely at all times and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU) and drive-up (DU) orders and maintain compliance with applicable laws where relevant.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
