Production Manager
Job Title: Automotive Team Leaders
Location: 14 1/2 and Mound, Sterling Heights, MI
Compensation: $20.00/hr (Day shift: 6:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.)
2nd shift: $20.00 + $0.75 shift premium (2:00 p.m.
- 10:00 p.m.)

Shift:
- 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.
- 2:00 p.m.) - 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.
- 10:00 p.m.) - Weekends and overtime as needed

Job Summary:
Supervises production personnel engaged in manufacturing. A Level I supervisor is a working supervisor with limited personnel authority. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Familiar with industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to meet goals. Performs various tasks with creativity and latitude. Reports to a manager or department head.
Necessary Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Sit-down propane forklift experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety, 5S, and TPM standards at workstations through assessments and involvement
- Review and facilitate training on Method Sheets and Procedures with HR
- Properly scan work orders in Oracle Production System for accurate reporting and inventory
- Promote a positive work ethic and maintain safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
- Participate as a production team member as needed
- Maintain First5 Boards and lead meetings in supervisor’s absence
- Support lean initiatives, 5S, TPM, VSM
- Approve outbound production before movement to next stage
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Must have Manufacturing Leadership experience and pass background and drug tests.
