WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Troubleshoot, Repair, Maintain and optimize transfer and line dies in press and out as required
- Operate Tool room equipment and machinery with precision
- Supports press setup and efficiency as a team to achieve posted expectations
- Adherence to safety procedures and protocols
- Uses root cause analysis, problem solving skills to promote efficiency and quality
- Directly responsible to maintain product quality to print specifications where applicable
- Must be available to work overtime as required to meet Customer Demand
- Serves in the capacity of wastewater handler commensurate with completion of proper environmental training
- Other duties as assigned
- Adapt and promote Lean Manufacturing principals using 5S and Kaizen processes
- Support the Company’s Goals and Objectives through Continuous Improvement action plan participation and completion
- Afternoons: 3:00 - 11:00 pm - 15% Shift Premium
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Must demonstrate proficiency of Blueprint GD&T interpretation of Dies, Details, and Part Prints
- Must be able to effectively troubleshoot and solve daily operational deficiencies
- Usage of a computer and other productivity machinery such as control panels
- Must be able to interpret C.M.M. or gaging information and adjust Tooling to maintain Customer Quality requirements
- Five years’ experience in Metal Stamping, Prototype, Tool and Die Build or Die Repair Technician
- Possess working knowledge of IATF
16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteria to maintain manufacturing environmental standards to protect and preserve our customers product and the environment - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet production standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college or technical trade manufacturing education is preferred
- Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping and performing repetitive motion tasks
- Excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds frequently
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise
- Must be able to work necessary overtime if required
High School or better.
PreferredTechnical/other training or better.
