Hours and Location 24 hours a week (3 - 8 hour shifts). Hours of operation are 8AM-5PM; typically there is one late day a week (till 7:30PM). Rotating weekends (normally 1 weekend a month or less). Location is for Lakeside-Sterling Heights. Benefits Part-Time.
Education/Experience RequiredGraduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor Degree preferred. Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test. Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. At least 1 year of pediatric experience.
Certifications/Licenses RequiredCurrent licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per HFHS policy.
