Finance Intern

The Finance Intern will work on day-to-day tasks and projects during the internship. Applicants should be at sophomore level or above. The position is located at our HQ in Sterling Heights, MI location.

Position Responsibilities:

Creating and uploading Journal Entries

Completing Account Reconciliations

Uploading month-end trial balances into Tagetik reporting system

Communicating with various departments and operations throughout our North American structure

Using Excel to complete spreadsheets

Using Google G-Suite for emails/documents/spreadsheets and communications

Other duties as assigned by manager

Required:

Working on a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance

Knowledge of basic accounting principles

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results

Relationship building skills

Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated

High attention to detail and ability to multitask

Proficient Excel skills

Preferred:

Preferably around sophomore or junior year of college
