They have exclusively engaged us to identify an Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role on their Finance team. This role is pivotal for their succession planning, which puts you on the fast track for career growth. ScopeThis position supports month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning initiatives. The role partners closely with accounting, corporate functions, and business unit leaders to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Support the month-end close process, including preparation and analysis of financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Develop and enhance standardized financial reports, KPIs, and management summaries
- Assist with annual budgeting and recurring forecasting cycles, including consolidation of inputs across functions
- Analyze income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow performance; identify trends and recommend actions
- Support corporate and SG&A cost analysis
- Build financial models and business cases to support long-term planning and strategic initiatives
- Assist with ongoing development and optimization of financial systems and reporting tools (ERP, planning systems)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Ideal candidate will either have 3-4+ years of public accounting experience (with manufacturing clients) or a blend of 2+ years of public with 2-3 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
