Primat Curtis, a growing global organization with a strong reputation in the heat-treating and coatings industry, is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to join their accounting team. This role will have broad exposure and impact, supporting financial operations across three manufacturing facilities in both Michigan and Illinois. The Plant Controller will play a key role in providing financial leadership and insight across all locations, partnering closely with operations to support performance and growth.

• Conduct the plant month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support annual audits, including financial, 401(k) and workers compensation audits.
• Prepare and analyze sales, margin, inventory, and cost variances to support operational performance.
• Partner with plant leadership to track and report key financial and operational metrics for weekly and monthly reviews.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support plant and corporate decision‑making.
• Analyze historical and current financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing forecast reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior or plant-level accounting role.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience preferred.
• Strong experience working with ERP systems;
  Plex experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including extensive use of pivot tables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively partner with operations and leadership.

Full time, on-site, Monday through Friday.

$90,000 - $105,000 based on experience.
