Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a critical component of how we plan, coordinate, and successfully execute our work. Our BIM team directly impacts project safety, installation efficiency, prefabrication strategy, and overall project success.

We’re looking for an experienced BIM Project Lead to take ownership of BIM execution on major electrical construction projects while leading coordination efforts that directly impact project safety, efficiency, and installation success.

As a BIM Project Lead, you’ll serve as the primary BIM authority on assigned projects, bridging the gap between design, project management, and field operations. You will lead modeling and coordination efforts, manage internal and external BIM resources, and ensure construction drawings are accurate, coordinated, and ready for installation.

This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and construction knowledge to support successful project delivery from preconstruction through completion.

• Lead BIM execution and coordination for complex electrical construction projects.
• Serve as the main BIM point of contact for project teams, trade partners, and consultants.
• Oversee production and release of Slifco construction drawings.
• Execute and maintain Slifco BIM standards, processes, and workflows.
• Manage Revit project setup, organization, and model maintenance.
• Schedule and oversee workloads for BIM Specialists, Engineers, and outside consultants.
• Review models and drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and coordination completion.
• Lead internal and multi-trade coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and field leadership to resolve constructability challenges.
• Support prefabrication planning and installation strategies through detailed modeling.
• Mentor and support BIM team members while promoting continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of BIM experience within electrical or MEP construction.
• Proven experience leading BIM coordination on large-scale project.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and construction workflows.
• Experience working in the Mission Critical sector is required.
