We are seeking a Systems Safety Engineer with strong technical expertise to lead and execute system safety analyses on complex, safety‑critical programs. • Perform System Safety Engineering on complex defense and safety‑critical systems in accordance with MIL‑STD‑882E.
• Execute system safety analyses using digital engineering and MBSE tools, including Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Develop and manage Hazard Tracking Systems (HTS), Hazard Logs, Risk Registers, and Human/System Interface databases.
• Conduct Preliminary Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA) to identify, assess, and mitigate system risks.
• Define, allocate, trace, and validate safety requirements across system architectures.
• Generate System Safety documentation and support customer safety reviews and program milestone events.

• BS 5‑7 Years, MS 3‑5, PhD 0‑2
• Demonstrated experience performing system safety analysis in accordance with MIL‑STD‑882E.
• Experience developing and managing hazard analyses, hazard logs, and risk mitigation artifacts.
• Hands‑on experience with MBSE modeling tools (e.g., No
  
  Magic/Cameo, Magic Draw, IBM Rhapsody) and familiarity with modeling languages and architecture frameworks such as SysML and DoDAF (including UPDM/UAF profiles).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
