Job Title: Systems Engineer – Integration & Compliance Location: Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite)
Position Type: Contract Pay Rate: $51.43 - $58.57/hr.

Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) in the execution and delivery of system-level engineering products and gated milestone reviews.
This role focuses on requirements decomposition, allocation management, traceability, interface control, and technical performance measure oversight across multi-disciplinary engineering teams. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) activities and ensuring alignment across design and program deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) meetings
- Provide systems engineering guidance to Systems Engineering (SE), Detailed Design Engineering (DDE), and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Support system requirements decomposition, traceability, and compliance activities
- Support requirement allocation efforts including Size, Weight, Power, Cooling, Reliability (SWaP-CR)
- Assist in development of the System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
- Support development and maintenance of the Requirements Compliance Matrix (RCM)
- Manage development and coordination of Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
- Support system design verification and validation activities
- Support system prototype integration activities
- Support Engineering Review Board (ERB) activities including design decision memos, problem reports, and risk tracking
- Assist SEM with execution of Systems Engineering deliverables and CDRLs
- Support checkpoint reviews and milestone technical readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering (Systems Engineering preferred)
- Experience with systems engineering principles, processes, and documentation
- Experience with system requirements development, architecture, integration, and testing
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic program environment
- Ability to travel as required
- Experience supporting gated design reviews and milestone checkpoints
- Experience with SWaP-CR allocation management
- Experience with requirements compliance matrices and TPM tracking
Onsite role supporting vehicle development programs.
