Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Sterling Heights, MI
. You will be responsible for monitoring test stand performance and analyzing data to identify and resolve quality issues.
$40/hour to $42/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor test stand performance using WMA software and analyze FTT and correlation data.
- Track and report quality issues (QRs, FQAs) and review initial test results from relevant equipment.
- Champion data-driven root cause analysis for test failures and communicate recurring issues to management for resolution.
- Conduct monthly reviews of critical test point variable trends and investigate anomalies.
- Lead process audits, variability reduction, and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure spare parts availability for test systems and support continuous improvement in equipment reliability and process capability.
- High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Proven experience with End-of-Line (EOL) testing principles, including leak, NVH, and balance testers.
- Hands‑on experience with WMA/Sciemetric test software and ability to use data for root cause analysis and process improvements.

Pay Details$40.00 to $42.00 per hour
