Pay Rate: $42.30/hour
Shift: Morning Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Up to 20 hours OT)

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Test Systems Engineer to support end-of-line (EOL) testing, process control, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on test stand performance, data analysis, quality issue resolution, and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor test stand performance using WMA/Sciemetric software
, including FTT and stand-to-stand correlation - Analyze test data, warranty reports, QRs, and FQAs to identify and resolve quality issues
- Track test failures and lead root cause analysis using data-driven problem solving
- Communicate recurring failures to management, vendors, and production teams for resolution at the source
- Drive In-Station Process Control (ISPC), error-proofing, and process capability improvements
- Support Engineering and Quality teams with defect retesting, analysis, and corrective actions
- Conduct monthly reviews of critical test point trend charts and investigate abnormal trends
- Ensure test system spare parts availability and equipment readiness
- Lead process audits
, variability reduction, and lean manufacturing initiatives - Identify throughput constraints and drive improvements to achieve Rate of Climb targets
- Ensure compliance with plant, corporate, governmental, and environmental standards
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Test Engineering
- Strong background in EOL testing principles (leak, NVH, balance testing)
- Experience with WMA/Sciemetric test software
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, GMP, and process control
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Powertrain or final axle assembly manufacturing experience
- Experience using data analysis tools (QDAS, Minitab)
- Lean Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, and DFSS methodologies
- Experience with FMEA, PPAP, DOE
, and advanced quality tools - Familiarity with lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and Value Stream Mapping
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
- Fully onsite role (100%)
- Hands-on manufacturing environment
- Overtime available up to 20 hours per week
