Responsibilities- Lead developmental integration efforts for prototype military vehicle builds, coordinating physical and functional system installation and verification.
- Plan and manage prototype build schedules, including developing and maintaining prototype/mockup fabrication plans, assisting with prototype hardware procurement, initiating and tracking shop work orders, coordinating support from sub-system engineers (SSEs) for build activities, serving as the primary liaison between sub-system engineering teams and prototype build shop personnel.
- Direct vehicle-level system integration, ensuring all subsystems are installed and verified according to design intent.
- Identify and resolve build-related issues, documenting problems through Engineering Problem Reports (EPRs).
- Guide and support mechanics during subsystem installation, interpreting drawings, models, and engineering documentation.
- Foster a cohesive, cross-functional build team involving shop technicians, sub-system engineers, and system integration engineers.
- Monitor and manage Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity and track execution of Engineering Release Plans.
- Track material deliveries and resolve delays or "late-to-need" parts impacting the build schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
- Experience with Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, and Oracle Systems is preferred.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- On-site presence required to support prototype vehicle assembly and integration activities.
