$71.05-$79.60/Hour

Responsibilities- Apply project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects
- Generate and manage project plans, integrated schedules, and funding mechanisms
- Forecast and maintain project demand files; establish and track project metrics to monitor performance
- Drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration and Agile methodologies
- Lead vehicle system-level design, integration, build, and test activities
- Facilitate and support technical and programmatic events; coordinate problem reports and manage change processes
- Serve as a primary technical interface with GDLS leadership, internal teams, and external customers
- Prepare and support bids, proposals, and RFI responses
- Evaluate customer feedback, propose process improvements, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical risks
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree/MBA preferred)
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant work experience, including 5+ years in Department of Defense or similar industry
- Certifications: PMP (required); ITIL and SAFe 5 Agilist preferred
- Proven experience managing large-scale engineering projects and leading design, development, and system integration
- Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management, and Teamcenter
- Strong business acumen with experience in customer relationship management, proposals, and negotiations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and presentation development
- Ability to travel as required
