* Serve as an initial point of contact for students, employees and third parties, conducting neutral, trauma‑informed intake meetings.
* Assess immediate needs and safety concerns and implement supportive measures, subject to review or approval by the Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator.
* Implement and document supportive measures and remedies, including but not limited to: + Academic or workplace accommodations and scheduling modifications + No Contact Orders, adjustments to housing, workplace, or classroom arrangements + Safety planning, access accommodations, and referrals to campus and community resources + Measures designed to restore or preserve equal access to educational or employment environments
* Provide neutral process education regarding rights, resources, timelines, and available resolution processes in accordance with System Regulation 08.01.
* Escalate all high‑risk, complex, or sensitive matters to the Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator immediately.
* Maintain accurate, confidential records in the institutional case‑management system (e.g., Maxient).
* Participate in committees such as the CARE Team, Title IX Committee, Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), and Domestic Violence/High‑Risk Threat (DVHRT) network.
* Coordinate logistical and supportive service functions with divisional leadership while deferring all procedural decisions to the Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator.
* Promote trauma‑informed, equity‑minded practices across support and response systems.
* Assist Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator with development and delivery of campus education related to civil rights processes, supportive measures, student and employee wellbeing, and violence prevention with approval from leadership.
* Maintain continuous professional development related to civil rights regulations, trauma‑informed care, risk assessment, and best practices.
* Collaborates with a variety of partners to coordinate support services and eliminate roadblocks. Refers students to resources.
* Maintain confidential case records and prepare de‑identified aggregate data for reporting, planning, prevention, and trend analysis.
* Share trends and risk indicators with the Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator.
* Follow member intake/outtake, documentation, and recordkeeping requirements as described in System Regulation 08.01.01.
* Contribute to assessments and reports related to community wellbeing, safety, and risk mitigation.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Two years experience in civil rights compliance, Title IX administration, higher education administration, investigations, or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate across diverse populations and functions.
* Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment requiring sound judgment.
* Mental health licensure (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, etc.).
* Experience in counseling, crisis response, or supporting individuals experiencing hardship.
* Familiarity with Title IX, Title VII, VAWA, FERPA, ADA, and related policies.
* Experience using case‑management or civil‑rights tracking systems.
