Purpose of the Role
The Social Media Coordinator plays a hands-on execution role within the marketing team, responsible for day-to-day social media activity and supporting content delivery across digital platforms. This role suits someone who enjoys bringing brand ideas to life online, managing multiple tasks, and balancing creativity with structure and reporting.
You will work closely with designers and marketing leads to ensure consistent messaging, accurate publishing, and strong engagement across channels.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Social Media Execution
Manage daily posting across social media platforms including Meta, Linked In, and Tik Tok.
Schedule content, maintain content calendars, and ensure timely delivery aligned to campaign goals.
Execute campaigns planned by senior marketing team members.
Brief designers and coordinate delivery of creative assets.
Monitor social media trends, audience sentiment, and competitor activity.
Digital Content Support
Upload and manage content on the company website, including blogs, landing pages, and product content.
Support online store updates, promotional banners, and content tagging.
Repurpose existing content across digital channels and formats.
Apply basic SEO best practices during content publishing.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track and report on key social media metrics including followers, engagement, reach, and conversions.
Monitor sentiment and provide insights to improve content and campaigns.
Coordinate tracking for influencer, ambassador, or partner-led content.
Development & Team Contribution
Participate in monthly KPI reviews and performance check-ins.
Stay up to date with platform trends, tools, and best practices.
Share learnings and ideas to improve team performance and processes.

Photography experience is advantageous.
Grade 12 (essential).
Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, or a related field (essential).
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
Willingness to travel between offices when required (Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Johannesburg).
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with reliable connectivity and a professional home setup.
