An established export business based in Stellenbosch is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join the finance team and provide key support to the Finance and Management team.

• Accounts Receivable (Debtors)
• Accurately capture and maintain customer invoicing
• Allocate payments and prepare customer statements
• Perform precise debtor ledger reconciliations
• Accounts Payable (Creditors)
  • Capture and match supplier invoices
  • Assist with weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Perform creditor reconciliations
• Month-End Support
  • Assist with ledger maintenance
  • Prepare reconciliations and ad-hoc reports
  • Support month-end closing procedures
• Forex & Export Transactions
  • Record multi-currency transactions
  • Assist with export-related financial documentation
  • Support forex reconciliations
• Internal Controls
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Contribute to strengthening internal financial controls

• Completed accounting qualification (National Diploma, BCom Accounting, or equivalent)
• 2+ years’ practical experience in debtors and creditors

• Experience in export/import or multi-currency environments
• Knowledge of Palbroker Software
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliations)
• High attention to detail
• Proactive, honest, and dependable
• Eager to learn and grow under experienced leadership
