• Develop and maintain specialist expertise across the relevant commodity supply chains, including downstream sectors, to support Project Blue’s PGM research. Create regular content and write up research with supervision from your product manager, including commentaries, breaking news, and insightful copy.
• Keep up to date with industry developments relevant to your commodity markets and downstream sectors.
• Develop and maintain a strong network within your markets. Help manage and expand the number of industry contacts submitting data, using all means of communication, including face-to-face meetings, conference attendance, and networking.
• Ensure you have your finger on the pulse for any breaking news, and work with marketing, research, and consulting teams to ensure the company is responsive to industry happenings.
• Contribute in a supporting role to PGM research projects and consulting.
• Travel to meetings and events when necessary, on behalf of the company.

• Experience in a comparable role within the PGM sector, research, market intelligence, or industry.
• Strong analytical, data modelling (Excel), and economic valuation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Confident public speaker, capable of presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with mining and/or metallurgical processes, including upstream production flows.
• Background in commodity markets or a relevant technical discipline such as geoscience, metallurgy, or engineering.
