How will you CONTRIBUTE

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the incumbent is responsible for duties related to general accounting, fixed assets, revenue analysis and reporting for both US and Canadian entities.

Assists with the monthly and quarterly close process including preparation of journal entries and analytics

Responsible for accounting, reporting and analysis of Fixed Assets and Inventory

Prepares various monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

Detailed monthly analysis of Gross Margins and operating expenses

Implement process improvements focusing on Fixed Assets, Revenue and Inventory

Facilitates local reporting, local taxation, transfer pricing and annual audits

Collaborates on department initiatives and assists with special projects

Ensures IFRS compliance standards are met

Performs other duties as required

Are you a MATCH?

Education:

Post secondary business degree

CPA designation or in progress

Experience:

3+ years working experience in a fast paced corporate environment

Experience in a multinational, multi-currency environment is preferable

Prior experience with Microsoft D365 or BPC is an asset

Rental industry experience is an asset

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to anticipate and solve problems, act decisively and persist in the face of obstacles

Adaptable to set and prioritize work

Communicates with clarity, verbally and in writing, in one on one or group situation, over telephone and via email

Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision

Intermediate computer experience with all MS Office products
