3rd Key - Sales Associate

General Position Summary
  • Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
  • Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
  • Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and feedback on strengths and opportunities.
  • Adhere to visual guidelines, including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
  • Control Expenses:
    Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policy guidelines.
  • Assist in preparation of store schedules that provide proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines.
  • Follow all policies to accurately manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, completing price changes, and conducting product counts.
  • Perform proper documentation and record keeping in accordance with LIDS Retail policies and state and federal laws.
  • Open and close the store following procedures in the Operations P&P Manual.
  • Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Supervise Associates
  • Participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to set goals (for sales and tasks), and conduct regular follow‑ups.
  • Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
  • Encourage store associates to comply with established company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.
  • Perform work of subordinates as needed.
  • Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relative experience.
  • Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer and related software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder, working with hands overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.

  • Reports directly to LIDS management.
