Manufacturing Production, Production Associate / Production Line
Location: Beamsville
We are a fast-paced manufacturing facility specializing in health & beauty products. We are seeking reliable individuals to assist with various functions related to manufacturing & production of finished goods.
Candidates should be quality-focused, detail oriented, and able to work on assembly lines for full shifts. If you are results-oriented and motivated by the direct impact of your hands-on and hard-work, this is the role for you.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:- Feeding materials and components in filling & packaging machinery
- Assisting with manual assembly of finished goods
- Counting and packaging finished goods
- Performing basic in-line quality checks
- Assisting with production line start-up and clean-up activities
- Wrapping pallets for shipment
- Assisting with loading/unloading of shipments
- Performing inventory counts
- Assist with accurate weighing & mixing of raw materials
- Cleaning and preparing equipment for manufacturing & production
- Assist with preventative maintenance of manufacturing & production equipment
- Ensuring materials and supplies are continuously available for production orders
- Ensuring continuous and efficient production of in-process orders
- Participating in achieving daily and weekly production goals
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting with cleaning and garbage removal in working areas
- Completing and maintaining various records and activity logs
- Move products, packaging, and other materials manually or with dollies, pump trucks
- Perform other jobs and general labor tasks as required to support manufacturing and production functions
- Multi-task and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Lift up to 20 kilograms (kgs) / 45 pounds (lbs)
- Work on foot (stand, walk) for extended periods of time for duration of shifts
- Be comfortable with repetitive motions and activities
- Operate basic warehouse and manufacturing/production equipment
- Follow instructions and work independently within a team environment
- Adhere to dress-code in accordance with manufacturing and safety guidelines (ie: no loose clothing, no open-toe shoes, no jewelry)
- Work full shift with hair nets and other PPE in accordance with safety and manufacturing guidelines
- Demonstrate good record of attendance and punctuality
- Communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrate you will go above and beyond to help advance productivity
Education:
- Secondary School (required)
We appreciate candidates who have the flexibility to work extra hours (evenings, weekends) on occasion during peak work periods or as needed.
