The Role
The Clayfield is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Manager to lead all brand and marketing initiatives across the hotel, restaurant, spa, and Commons. This is a hands‑on role responsible for shaping brand storytelling, digital presence, content, partnerships, and community engagement, while helping establish The Clayfield as a distinctive luxury destination within Niagara-on-the-Lake.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute the annual marketing plan across hotel, restaurant, spa, and Commons
- Lead brand storytelling and ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints
- Own digital marketing efforts including website content, social media, email, SEO, and paid campaigns
- Create and manage photo, video, and written content; coordinate shoots and asset libraries
- Drive seasonal campaigns and promotions with Revenue, F&B, Spa, and Operations teams
- Support PR, media, and influencer hosting in collaboration with Hyatt and regional partners
- Promote events, activations, and community programming at The Clayfield Commons
- Manage marketing budgets, performance tracking, and reporting
- Play a key role in pre‑opening, soft‑opening, and grand‑opening initiatives
What You Bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within hospitality, tourism, wine regions, or luxury brands
- Strong digital marketing and content creation skills
- Excellent writing and communication ability
Experience working with agencies, creatives, and external partners - Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities
- Creative, proactive, and energized by building something new
