The Project Manager for this role will focus on the Mechanical and Electrical, and Commissioning aspects project.

You, as an M&E Project Manager, Life Sciences and Technology, will:

  • Plan the mechanical and electrical components of a construction project and ensure applicable activities fit within the overall project framework
  • Chair project M&E meetings, determining the status of the job in terms of scheduling and costing and solve complex technical issues
  • Monitor a project’s material and labour costs for mechanical and electrical components and assure accurate quality reporting is being conducted
  • Manage project commissioning team to provide a record of systems performance
  • Prepare and implement training programs to ensure successful transition from the construction team to facility management

    • Is this the right role for you?

  • You have an Engineering/Mechanical degree or equivalent combination of technical training and industry memberships.
  • Experienced in the management of the projects end to end i.e. scope development, spec development, tendering review and evaluation, managing contractor installation, quality review, project closeout, etc.
  • You have 3 - 7 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical functions
  • Data Centre experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience preferred
