Construction Inspector

The role involves conducting engineering site inspections on water and wastewater construction projects to ensure quality control and adherence to provincial standards, engineering design, and technical specifications. The inspector will document construction site activities, maintain a detailed daily report log, take photos, perform survey checks, and record as-built conditions. Additionally, the role involves identifying and monitoring deficiencies, providing problem resolution and field solutions for unforeseen construction issues, and participating in construction progress meetings.

The inspector will be on-site at all times, working closely with contractors and the project team. The role involves being part of the field services team supporting the water engineering group. The inspector will work independently as the sole representative on-site, inspecting a 150 ft water tower. This is a full-time, on-site position, requiring attendance five days a week. The project is a unique greenfield opportunity on the tallest water tower in Niagara, providing a stepping stone to further career advancement.

This is a Contract position based out of Port Colborne, ON.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
