Overview  Ellis Don is seeking an M&E Project Manager, Life Sciences and Technology, focusing on the mechanical and electrical, and commissioning aspects of the project. Responsibilities   Plan the mechanical and electrical components of a construction project and ensure applicable activities fit within the overall project framework
Chair project M&E meetings, determine the project status in terms of scheduling and budgeting, and solve complex technical issues
Monitor a project’s material and labour costs for mechanical and electrical components and ensure accurate quality reporting
Manage the commissioning team to provide a record of systems performance
Prepare and implement training programs to ensure a successful transition from the construction team to facility management
Qualifications   You have an Engineering/Mechanical degree or an equivalent combination of technical training and industry memberships
Experience in the end-to-end management of projects (scope development, specification development, tendering review and evaluation, managing contractor installation, quality review, project closeout, etc.)
3–7 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical functions
Data Centre experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience is preferred
