We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our client’s team as a Bookkeeper in Beamsville, ON
!
In this contract role until May, you’ll help our client with their full-cycle accounting and booking needs.
What You’ll Do:- Maintain accurate financial records through bookkeeping practices.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify cash balances and transactions.
- Assist in account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize accounting software effectively to streamline bookkeeping tasks.
- Support accountants in busy tax season through timely bookkeeping.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in Sage
50. - Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with Quickbooks
- Experience with personal tax preparation and filing.
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Hourly rate of $24.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
