Western State Hospital is seeking a full time Housekeeping Worker to work 12pm to 8:30 pm or 3:30 pm to 12 pm. This position will provide a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors at Western State Hospital (WSH). The Housekeeping Worker will ensure bathrooms and shower rooms are cleaned daily; will replenish paper products; ensure all trash removed daily;
clean mirrors; ensure floors are mopped daily; and ensure walls and ceilings are cleaned as needed.
This position will also ensure windows, doors, fixtures cleaned as needed; dust mop and wet mop floors daily; remove trash; wipe down tables and chairs; clean windows, doors, walls; dust mop and wet mop daily; conduct buffing weekly; and finishing floors as needed.
This Position Is Eligible For Shift Differential
3 pm to 8:30 pm weekday - $1.21/HR
3 pm to 11:30 pm weekday - $1.21/HR
3 pm to 8:30 pm weekend - $1.94/HR
3 pm to 11:30 pm weekend - $1.94/HR

- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and complete required documentation
- Perform basic math calculations
- Lift heavy objects
- Stand for prolonged periods and walk on various surfaces
- Climb ladders, work on knees, and work in various conditions
