- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
- Document all medication administration and report any changes in resident condition
- Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Complete and renew required Maryland Board of Nursing certification
- Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration
- Report and document any incidents or medication errors promptly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of hands‑on experience as a CMA—ideally in a vibrant healthcare setting
- Expertise in safe, accurate medication administration

- Excellent communication and people skills
