Elementary School Teacher; Experienced

The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, professional maturity, and a genuine love of working with children. This educator will bring both warmth and structure to the classroom, along with strong organizational skills and a clear sense of responsibility. We seek a teacher who is reflective in practice, confident in instructional decision-making, and energized by the opportunity to know students deeply.

Our new colleague will have intellectual curiosity, steady leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and grace. We are looking for someone who approaches challenges with creativity and sound judgment, collaborates thoughtfully with colleagues, and communicates clearly and respectfully with students, families, and staff.

This is a full-time position for the 2026–2027 academic year.

• Design and facilitate meaningful, inquiry-driven learning experiences across language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies that foster curiosity, depth of understanding, and intellectual engagement.
• Intentionally cultivate and model the Habits of the Mind
  , including persistence, flexible thinking, managing impulsivity, striving for accuracy, questioning and problem posing, and thinking interdependently, within daily classroom practice.
• Differentiate instruction to honor individual learners, encouraging students to take academic risks, reflect on their thinking, and develop confidence as capable problem-solvers.
• Nurture a vibrant culture of literacy that inspires a lifelong love of reading, thoughtful discussion, and clear communication.
• Promote mathematical reasoning and creative problem-solving through hands‑on exploration, manipulatives, and authentic real‑world applications.
• Create a classroom environment that values collaboration, empathy, respectful discourse, and intellectual curiosity.
• Communicate thoughtfully and proactively with families about student growth, academically, socially, and developmentally.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to refine curriculum, reflect on practice, and contribute to the ongoing development of a dynamic, progressive learning community.
• Participate fully in school life and community events

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• 3–5+ years elementary teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
