JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for operating and maintaining the assigned production line in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring high quality and productivity while working a 12.5-hour shift. Provide support to Line Lead as needed.

• Safety is paramount; all tasks must be performed in a safe manner, with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Participation in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and near-miss reporting is essential.
• Foster a team-oriented attitude and approach, while consistently meeting productivity standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot issues related to quality or productivity, whether concerning the team or machinery.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
• Multi-task with minimal supervision while maintaining keen attention to detail.
• Make adjustments to machinery as necessary; contribute ideas for process or procedure improvements.
• Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leaders, and Senior Process Engineers to address issues and implement improvements; perform 5S and other housekeeping duties for a clean and safe work environment.
• Obtain and maintain three certifications; train others as needed.
• Adhere to all departmental rules, regulations, and procedures; perform any other duties as assigned.

• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High school education or GED equivalent is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Recent manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Job functions will be performed in and around a manufacturing facility.

• Work is performed on the plant floor with frequent contact with others.
• Frequently ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs around moving machinery.
• Safely access fast-moving machinery, including rolls with inward nip points.
• Prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, stooping and stretching; manual dexterity.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
