Base pay range: $18.00/yr - $30.00/yr

Our Assembly Technicians are the hands behind that excellence – responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing the systems that become the backbone of our customers’ operations.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. You’ll work closely with other technicians, engineers, and quality inspectors to ensure every system leaving our facility meets the high standards of the AUTEC brand.

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components according to blueprints, work orders, and schematics.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to build car wash systems and sub‑assemblies accurately.
• Perform basic wiring and plumbing as part of equipment assembly.
• Verify proper fit, function, and alignment of assembled parts before final inspection.
• Conduct functional testing to confirm system performance and identify adjustments or rework needs.
• Communicate any material shortages, design issues, or process improvements to the Supervisor or Engineering team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with AUTEC’s 5S and safety standards

• Support cross‑training across other areas of production as needed to meet company goals.
• Adhere to all company policies, quality procedures, and safety requirements

• High school diploma or GED required;
  technical training in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in equipment assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical maintenance.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  .
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams
  .
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move throughout the shift.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
