Overview

Senior Operations Manager - Distribution Operations.

Schedule:

Flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends as needed.

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the flow of product through a high-volume distribution facility. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of Operations Supervisors and ensuring safe, efficient, and effective inventory movement. You'll play a key role in forecasting production volume, reallocating resources in real-time, and driving performance to meet store demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Operations Supervisors
  • Monitor and manage daily inventory flow and operational efficiency
  • Analyze production volume and adjust resources to meet fluctuating demands
  • Resolve complex operational issues and escalate when necessary
  • Communicate business objectives and workload plans to teams and leadership
  • Drive performance to meet or exceed key performance indicators
What We're Looking For
  • Ability to work a set schedule that aligns with facility needs
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted (up to 70 lbs with assistance)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field plus 3 years of experience in distribution operations
  • OR
  • 7 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations
  • Proven leadership experience with direct reports
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience leading teams through change
  • Commitment to safety and building a safety-first culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing budgets, time, and resources
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Leadership experience in corporate initiatives or within a supply chain network
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable to the facility)
