Job DescriptionThe Paralegal will provide broad legal support to an in-house legal department, assisting with document preparation, compliance activities, and legal coordination across multiple practice areas. This position works closely with internal teams, external legal partners, and regulatory entities while managing a diverse range of legal tasks in a hybrid work environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReal Estate & Property Matters
- Prepare and revise real estate-related legal documents such as leases, easements, and amendments
- Assist with property research, title review, and due diligence activities
- Monitor key deadlines and maintain organized records related to real estate files
Corporate & Governance Support
- Maintain corporate records and ensure required filings and documentation remain up to date
- Assist with drafting governance materials including policies, resolutions, and meeting documentation
- Support internal governance processes and board-related activities
Litigation Assistance (Approximately 20–25%)
- Support a limited number of legal matters including collections or damage-related cases
- Help prepare court filings, discovery responses, and supporting documentation
Coordinate schedules for hearings, depositions, and other case-related activities
General Legal Support
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with contract review processes and internal legal workflows
- Serve as a resource for internal teams requiring legal documentation or guidance
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Paralegal Studies preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role supporting real estate, governance, or litigation matters
- Strong working knowledge of legal terminology, documentation standards, and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic court filing systems
- Familiarity with legal research tools and technology-driven legal solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks independently with discretion
