Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Job Captain located in Statesville NC. The Job Captain will oversee and coordinate various project deliverables, collaborate closely with architects and designers, manage the preparation of drawings and documents, ensure compliance with project standards, and supervise team effort to meet deadlines. The role requires active participation in project meetings, issue resolution, and liaising with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless implementation of design intent.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in architectural design, 3D modeling, and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketch Up
- Experience in constructibility and a thorough understanding of building codes, standards, and construction documentation
- Strong project management skillset, including the ability to manage timelines, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure project quality
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and commit to fostering strong client relationships
- Experience with commercial, institutional, and/or interior design projects is an advantage
