Overview

Georgia Southern University is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist the General Manager with efficient and profitable operations in the Dining Commons. This position provides leadership to assigned functions and events.

Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, supervise and schedule staff
  • Monitor processes to ensure quality operations and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Assist with inventory control procedures and operations
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • High School diploma

Required Experience

  • Three (3) or more years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

  • Associate s Degree or equivalent vocational/technical training

Preferred Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience
Proposed Salary

$20.71 per hour


This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

  • Working knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques
