Overview

Travel Registered Nurse – Newborn Nursery (Night Shift, Locum Tenens) in Statesboro, Georgia. Modern 21-bed Women s Pavilion; care for newborns and families. 13-week assignment with start date October 6, 2025 and end January 5, 2026. Estimated weekly salary: $1860 - $2210.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to newborns and couplets during the immediate neonatal phase.
• Apply the nursing process in compliance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and experience.
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned healthcare personnel.
• Float as needed to care for well couplets, GYN patients, and function as transition nurse.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Newborn Nursery, Mother-Baby, or OB nursing.
• At least 2 completed travel nurse assignments.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• STABLE, CPN, and Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
• Ability to float between departments within the Women s Pavilion as needed.
