Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Every Other Weekend

The Respiratory Therapist, either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care, is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary Services. The therapist will follow protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.

• At least 2+ years of experience in the field.
• Completion of at least 2 previous successful travel assignments.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required.
• iStat and Draeger vent experience preferred.
