Thomas & Hutton is a growing, well‑established civil engineering firm providing consulting services throughout the southeast. The firm offers a range of services including Civil, Environmental, Structural and Marine Engineering;
Land Surveying;
Land Planning;
Landscape Architecture;
Geographic Information Systems and Construction Administration.
Thomas & Hutton is seeking enthusiastic and driven candidates for Summer Internships in our Civil Site Design Department. Candidates must be in either their sophomore, junior, or senior year in pursuit of a civil engineering degree at an ABET‑accredited program. Previous internship experience with a civil design firm and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Assist in preparing site design plans.
- Support project teams on various tasks.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of technical and field opportunities.
Paid 40‑hour per week internships begin in May 2026 and end in August 2026.
Relocation and housing are not provided. This is not a structural internship. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Thomas & Hutton is a Drug‑Free Workplace & an E‑Verify Participant.
