SALARY: Based on Bulloch County Schools salary/supplement schedule
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Data & Assessment or designee

POSITION SUMMARY:
The enrollment specialist conducts all functions necessary to ensure the successful processing of student enrollments, including accurate data entry for demographic and household information; processing of annual census verification data; digitizing and fulfilling requests for archived student records; and other data entry tasks related to the district's student information system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with computer data entry.
- Experience working with a diverse group of people.
- Embodies the core values of the district; relational, purposeful, reflective, resourceful, courageous and accountable.
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform essential functions of the position. When appropriate, reasonable accommodations will be provided to afford persons with disabilities an opportunity to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Must be able to provide a criminal background check with results that adhere to Bulloch County Board of Education Policy GAK(1).
- Experience with enrolling students in a K-12 environment.
- Experience with a K-12 student information system such as Infinite Campus, Powerschool, etc.
- Knowledge of Georgia laws regarding enrollment and withdrawal.
- Processes new student registrations, including those submitted through the online registration system.
- Processes student withdrawals, including diligent follow-up to ensure records requests or Declaration of Intent to Home School documents are received for all students withdrawing and subject to compulsory school attendance.
- Processes census information updates.
- Acquires Georgia Unique IDentifier for Education (GTID) numbers for all students.
- Assists with the accurate reporting of student data for all major state and federal data collections.
- Digitizes records for archival and fulfills requests for archived records.
- Completes additional tasks related to the district's student information system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Light Work:
