Department InformationThe Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology is a growing unit of over 50 faculty and staff serving 2,000+ majors. This part‑time faculty position will fill teaching needs within the Sport Management Program.
Job SummaryPart‑time faculty positions for the academic year 2025–2026 to teach courses in Social Issues in Sport and Introduction to Sport Management on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Applicants may be asked to teach in face‑to‑face, hybrid, or online modalities. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- Earned master’s degree in sport management or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in sport management by August 1, 2025
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
- Commitment to instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development
- Ability to learn to teach in an online environment
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment in the Department, College, and University
- Technological literacy and a commitment to integrate technology into teaching
- Minimum of one year of full‑time college/university teaching in sport management or a closely related field
