Job SummaryThe Coordinator of Printing & Postal Services oversees the daily operations of the University's printing and postal services on the Armstrong Campus. This position is responsible for processing, distributing, and tracking mail, packages, and print orders; maintaining accurate records; supervising on-site team; and providing quality service to students, faculty, and staff. The Coordinator will serve as a lead for frontline staff and student workers, ensuring that work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations to ensure timely, secure handling of incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and print orders
- Manage accounting duties and prepare daily deposits
- Receive, process, inventory, and deliver mail, supplies, and equipment
- Track shipments, process returns, and coordinate with vendors and buyers to resolve discrepancies or damages
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment and delivery vehicles. Be familiar with all design and printing-related computer software. Operate and maintain all commercial high-speed printing and finishing equipment and assist with daily printing and postal operations
- Prepare, file, and maintain delivery and shipping documentation
- Hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following University safety standards
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to campus partners
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- One (1) year of related work experience
Preferred Educational Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with postal or receiving operations
- Experience in a higher education or similar environment
$18.12 - $20.89 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
