One on One seeks committed, career-oriented individuals to join our team of professionals in State College, Pennsylvania. Our culture and commitment to excellence makes One on One truly special. We are not a health club; we do nothing but specialized fitness and nutrition programming. This entry level position includes 5-weeks of training in our Personal Fitness Training Instructor program and unlimited growth opportunities.

- A Full Time Schedule of Clients upon completion of our Personal Fitness Trainer Instructor Program.
This entry-level position includes five weeks of training in our Personal Fitness Training Instructor program and limitless growth opportunities. Starting salary for this role is $45,000 – $50,000. All full-time team members with four or more years of service earn over $70,000 plus benefits.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients based on their individual goals, fitness levels, and preferences.
- Create personalized fitness programs tailored to each client’s specific needs and abilities.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to clients, ensuring they stay engaged and committed to their fitness journey.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle choices to promote overall health and well-being.
- Regular continuing education with the One on One team to sharpen skills and enhance expertise.
- Maintain a clean and safe training environment.
- A passion for fitness and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and provide exceptional service to clients.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
- Proactive, organized, and punctual, with a professional work ethic.
- A true desire to grow as a professional and be part a team.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Exercise Science or Nutrition from an accredited institution.
- Certified Personal Trainer with a nationally recognized accreditation (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, etc.).
- Experience working as a personal trainer, preferably with an active-aging adult clientele.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and nutrition principles.
