Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas as directed by leadership.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Change prices, perform merchandise setup and maintenance, and support inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to assist guests and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws (adult beverage, etc.).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Capable of climbing ladders and handling/moving merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds without assistance)
