The freezer, cooler, and deli stocker role is a great way to start a fulfilling career at Sam’s Club. You’ll help keep freezers and coolers stocked and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality for our members. In the deli department, you’ll provide customer service and support on the front lines of the shopping experience.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintain the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with company policies, including receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation.
• Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing Deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
• Follow company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies, operating and sanitizing equipment, following Cold Chain procedures, cleaning the area, and reporting issues to Management.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Experience with stocking and customer service considered a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing work scenarios and think creatively

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
