Highlights:
Provide comprehensive patient care in a surgical center environment including pre-op and PACU
Work with diverse patient populations addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs
Utilize electronic health record documentation and ensure accurate transcription of physician orders
Participate in pain management and eye laser procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and anesthesiologists
Opportunity to float between areas and assist with patient flow coordination
Requirements:
Active RN license in good standing
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with IV therapy and diagnostic measures including labs, radiology, and EKG
Knowledge of PACU nursing practices and discharge criteria
Familiarity with anesthesia supplies and emergency procedures preferred
Ability to educate patients and families effectively
