Ability to react calmly and effectively during emergency situations.
Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
Ability to administer a variety of medications and treatments.
Description:
Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques.
Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care.
Assist providers in patient care and education.
Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions.
Knowledge of office procedures and medical terminology.
Must have the ability to identify and analyze problems, prioritize, make confident quick decisions, and recommend effective solutions.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, stressful medical office environment.
May be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
May require working irregular hours and travel to other offices.
Physical Demands:
Requires full range body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
May require sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
