Geisinger Convenient Care is a walk‑in clinic that offers quick, convenient healthcare when patients need it. The Clinics provide family health services such as physicals, immunizations and treatment for common illnesses. As an outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will work to the top of your license while delivering high‑quality care in an ambulatory setting.

• Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients and their families in diagnosis and treatment.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy and proper filing in the medical record for continuity and quality of care.
• Promote a clean and safe environment.
• Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Deliver direct clinical care as directed by the provider.
• Assist the
  100 provider with minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork for labτητας.
• Execute and document ongoing patient communication, prioritize communication to the provider and respond to patient questions to ensure efficient use of provider time.
• Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice.
• Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases, ensuring asepsis, availability of instruments and equipment, and patient preparation.

• Per Diem position across western region Convenient Care Clinics.
• Clinic schedule:
  Monday‑Friday 8:45 AM–8:15 PM;
  Weekends 7:45 AM–6:15 PM.
• Services available to patients age one and older.
• Open 7 days a week.

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program—Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year Nursing experience (preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse and Basic Life Support Certification.
